[Spoilers] How did Caesar..?
How did Caesar get shot in the snowy mountains, travel across the desert over many days and nights, and only just finish bleeding to death once they'd arrived at their new home by the lake??
shareI can only say he slowly bled to death. Plus there is the whole Caesar is actually a biblical figure who was able to lead his people to freedom. It just fits in with the narrative basically.

My question is why cross the desert if all the humans are dead? Just go back to the forest.
All the humans? I think it was just those 2 armies on one coast of one continent. There are probably more humans around.
