The television series is amazing and takes place after the altered timeline created in Battle.
That has never been established.

They literally talked about Taylor and his group quickly being killed as to stop them from inciting rebellion.

The astronauts mentioned in the first episode were never identified as Taylor and his crew.

Also the humans talk like they do in the final film.

Which really proves nothing since the TV series is set 900 years before the first film and on the West Coast instead of the East Coast.

Additionally, it is never established that the TV series takes place in the same POTA universe as the Film series.

It was introduced in the first episode... They literally talked about Taylor and his group quickly being killed as to stop them from inciting rebellion. Also the humans talk like they do in the final film. Please consider rewatching the series.

So in other words, you've never seen the show. I have, many times, and know it far better than you do, apparently. The TV series takes place in 3085, almost a thousand years before the first film. It also takes place in California, an entire nation away from Ape City, in an area called Central City. The first episode never discusses Taylor. It talks about a group of astronauts whom Urko personally hunted down and killed ten years before Burke and Virdon arrived. Had the show continued into a second season, that was something the writers had intended to follow up on. Now... I suggest that YOU consider rewatching the series. You barely know anything about it.
