Could Kong: Skull Island steal some of the hype away from this?

That trailer was awesome!

What's missing in movies is same as in society: a good sense of work ethic and living up to ideals.

Indeed. If anything, I could see Kong: Skull Island hyping up War of the Planet of the Apes. I thing for sure, both are going to be crazy.

That's possible too but since Kong:Skull Island comes out first, I was wondering if it could tire people of ape movies before this comes out. Kinda like how The Jungle Book stole The Legend of Tarzan's thunder this past summer.

Well, the difference is that Tarzan wasn't that good of a film, however I believe that Skull Island and War will both be at least good, with War probably being a great film.

I don't know. It might be okay, but I'm not really worried about KONG: SKULL ISLAND stealing its hype. I just didn't think RISE and DAWN were all that great. Good, but they still can't top the original films. WAR might be no exception. Just a decent film, but frankly not one I'm in a hurry to see.
