I think these films should be converted in to a TV series asap!
I found the 2nd more of a tv episode than a film and think they could tell the store better with episodes rather than a film.

shareThey'd have to go back to ape suits for a new TV show to be effective. Though I'm sure modern ape suits wouldn't look too bad.
I wouldn't mind seeing a POTA TV show. There was a live action show once as well as an animated show, but they only went one season.
I'd say that'd be the biggest restriction. Think the storyline they have for these movies would have worked well as a tv series. Could have filled in some of the time gaps as well or left it as a sort of anthology type where it tells an overall story but the each season is it's own self contained story and doesn't necessarily lead right into the next. However hte budget to make the apes look good would be large. Think they could do the rest of it decently on a tv budget but be hard to do the cgi for the apes every episode without it adding up quick.
