Sounds like Steve Zahn will be the comic relief.

I found it interesting that the virus is going to affect humans in a new way. As a nice parallel to the apes becoming sentient, the virus begins to turn humans savage and violent as well taking their higher reasoning skills. This could be a great lead-up to the original's timeline where the apes are the advance civilization and humans are living in the wild as animals.
