I would have casted the movie differently

I want to like this movie more than I do. I would have preferred "who's afaid of virginia wolf" aged/behavior characters playing out this drama. Wife should have been fatter,older and uglier. Husband could have been just as handsome but a bit more worn out and slimy. Then the redemption from death would have been poignant.
