Something has been left out...

When bad guys reached Van Gogh's painting, D.B. Woodside(bad guy), said that the code that was protecting Van Gogh's painting was changed. Then he mentions that a guy that was 'inside' did not tell him (them, the bad guys) anything about it.
From that moment on I was expecting to see this moment of 'reveal', where inside guy would show himself. I expected it to be either Hotels head security dude or the guy, who was captured together with protagonist's daughter, but the movie ended without revealing anything.
It makes me wonder whether someone forgot this detail of the story or it was cut out?

What do you peeps think?...

Umm they had a gun to his head when the Daughter walked in. Pay closer attention.

You gave this film too much thought and too much credit. Inam surprised they remembered where the film was supposed to take place. Also...who cares? End credits could not come fast enough...so i left the room just after the ice cream facial scene. Couldn't tolerate the sh!t-storm that is that movie any longer.

I also felt like something was missing/changed from the original script - particularly regarding the Lane character. I was sure he was the "inside guy" but then his character just sort of went nowhere. They set him up as a romantic interest for Paul's daughter and then nothing happens. Felt like a scene was deleted or subplot changed...

When I saw the subject line - Something has been left out - the first thing I thought of was...laughs. A horribly unwatchable movie. Especially unfunny was Vic Dibitetto. A total waste of time and money.
