in one of the plot descriptions it says Paul's wife of 6 days leaves him..... Does that mean Amy (Jayma Mays) left him? I'm confused because Jayma couldn't reprise her role??

Paul says it at the start of the movie.
It cheapened the ending of the first movie. I would have rather seen them recast if the original actress was unavailable.
shareOr say Amy stayed at home to watch their baby or because it was just a father-daughter trip. Easy way to keep her married to Paul without the actress.
shareI can't agree more with those choices. She could have been at home since the whole movie was shot at that hotel/resort. I watched those two movies (1 and 2) back to back and they were a very happy couple in the end of the first one (with the mall wedding and all...) and it would just strike me as odd that she would leave six days after. It really just made the Paul Blart character very, very sad (and other related words).
