I mean there were countless factual errors. Not to mention film references that were completely wrong? Candyman used during the candy man piece. The Scream opening sequence and Laurie Stode talking on the phone from Halloween during the stranger calling the babysitter from inside the home segment
shareYeah that irritated me. Those little clips they used make sense if you haven't seen the actual movies they're from!! I thought this was cheaply made and the two main researchers were really pretentious, dramatically reading the newspaper clippings etc.... very Blair Witch-esque. What a coincidence that they happened to visit some of the places at night too. Trying too hard to make it creepy.
shareI think you're being too critical about that. Just because those movies don't involve babysitters doesn't mean the phone call aspect isn't similar. I got what they were doing with those clips.
