I've seen less preachy movies in sunday school

Uwe Boll thinks he's created a classic, every frame and line in this movie reeks with pretentiousness. How are people eating this *beep* up?! It's comical how horrible the message is in this movie. Kill everyone, be a terrorist! It's the only way

I really like Boll, but I have to agree with you. The first Rampage had more of a nihilistic tone but Rampage 2 and Assault on Wall Street were very shallow and cliched in their respective messages. Assault on Wall Street was especially ludicrous as it made no mention of banks being coerced by administrations into making low or no money down loans available to risky borrowers who had no business being home owners. It completely omits any reference to this or all the 120% LTV loans that were flowing forth that created the bubble. The films were very shallow attempts to demonize the rich... not to say there isn't loads upon loads of corruption or a rigged system, but the message seems to be "tie up all your money into high yield risky investments then blame someone else for your loss".

As for Dr. Boll, I love his commentaries and buy all of his dvd's for that reason. However, in all of his recent interviews promoting Wall Street and Rampage 2 he comes across as the very elitist and pretentious Hollywood Liberal that he often ridicules and it is a real turn off for me. I like him a lot better when he is slamming Tara Ried and not preaching about corrupt politicians.

Uwe Boll along with 90% of the "artistic, creative" community want to believe that the rich perpetually screw everyone else.

I mean, I do take issue with the way he goes after so many of the cultural and social beliefs of a nation he did not grow up in and has never really taken the time to learn about but at the same time I do believe he is more sincere in his desires to improve America and stop the influence of corrupt politicians.

Also, he does seem to be a cut above the other Hollywood liberals in that he does not rant about politician overlords while insisting Obama and his Administration are just so different and so gracious and are literal messiahs come to save us and doesn't let them off the hook.

It would be nice if he did not attack all of American culture so much though. I'm ok with him believing that the American rich have too much influence but think he takes the protests too far.
