A giant flamboyant gay guy jumping over a bridge....

Haven't seen the flick, nor will I, just can't get into all the song&damce and stupid face grimacing, Bollywood seems to relish in.
Just wanted to comment on the unusual movie poster, so is the film about a 70 ft gay man that jumps over bridges?

This is a pretty good movie, and there isn't even a single song and dance sequence.
Those things will soon become a rarity in the non-mainstream Hindi cinema.

Not only are you a flaming idiot but you also go to great lengths to display and highlight your idiocy to the rest of the world.

Jeez, talk about butt-hurt Bollywood fans.

I don't need to be a fan of Hindi cinema to see what a thoroughly rotten imbecile you are.

Only snot-nosed imbeciles use outdated acronyms like that and laugh at their own utter lack of humour. The proofs in favour of your imbecility have already stacked up sky-high.

Well that was a pretty dumb comment.

To begin with, many Bollywood films do not feature musical numbers. This one does not.

Besides, the presence of musical numbers doesn't say anything about a movie. Kaminey is neo noir and features musical numbers. Dil Se is a serious, non mainstream drama and it features musical numbers. Haider is a stunning adaptation of Hamlet and it features musical numbers. And these films received very good professional reviews worldwide.

It's just idiotic to pretend music and dancing are somehow horrible things that shouldn't be in movies. They can be part of the story telling and/or contribute to the entertainment factor.

As to Detective Byomkesh Bakshy, it's your loss if you don't want to see it. No need to come whining about it.
