This has got to be the worst show I've seen in years. The product values look like the cameras were cheap last year's models tourist cameras bought on sale at Best Buy.
The dialog sounds and is performed at the level of a Junior High play put on by freshmen. The sound quality often sounds like it was recorded in someone's bathroom, echos and tinny.
Special effects are bargain basement.
Terrible, insulting, television.
It's better than anything else on Nickelodeon right now. Better than The Thundermans, Haunted Hathaways, and Sam and Cat.
But thats not saying a whole lot.
I agree with a few of your complaints. Yes, the production values don't look good at all. Some of the actors/actresses have trouble with pronunciation but other than that i don't see much wrong with the acting.
The lead (Paola) comes from Denardo Talent Ventures that has brought us Ainsley Bailey (Shake It Up), Spencer Boldman (Lab Rats). Mackinlee Waddell (GCB), Ian Patrick (The Neighbors), Cameron Stewert (Pitch Perfect).
Lmao although those shows suck, they DEFINITELY aren't as bad as this
shareThe biggest problem is the been there done that feel of the show. 'Wizards of Waverly Place' did the magic bit better and had a nice run. This show also has too many characters and not enough story for them in each episode. Does Danny need 3 little siblings?

This show was already done before. Its n English adaption of the Nick Latin American soap Grachi. Grachi had better production values, better acting and a longer running time. It still had plenty of ridiculousness but not as bad as Every Witch Way.

I agree with this. The acting is extremely bad and I don't understand how this show continues to get views. It looks like their budget was only $300 & with that budget, they could only afford to buy an iPhone & iMovie because that's what it looks like. Also, I don't understand why they don't have laughing tracks to make the show some what interesting. Everything is so dull and I don't ever know what's going ok in the episodes. And the protagonist's best friend honestly has the worst voice. A mixture of bad acting and a horrible accent. I won't be expecting for this show to last longer than Marvin Marvin.
shareA laugh track isn't going to make this show funny or interesting it will just make it worse. They pretaped the entire season already. Now if it gets a second season(Grachi ran for 3 episodes) depends on how well this season does. They should've hired more experienced and slightly older actors for this. And made some adjustments to the way they film and the dialogue to make it sound older. Why air it as the lead in to Nick at Nite when it seems to be targeting the kids slightly older than Nick Jr?
shareOf course laugh tracks don't make a series funny but without laugh tracks, it's honestly hard to follow along with the show. Like I mentioned before, I never know the purpose and meaning of each episode. Every time I watch it, I just see bad acting. And I agree they should've used more experienced & older actors but even at that, it the show was to some how become a hit, their age would.

shareHoly god this show is awful!! I had it on in the background while I was cooking because it came on after something else and I had to stop what I was doing and come to this board. The acing, production is the absolute worst I've ever seen for a kids show. The awkward silence of no laugh track is brutellly uncomfortable. I'm surprised this passed for Nickelodeon.

that show is boring. and not funny. when I watch the Thundermans or dozens of other tv-shows... it seems to be "not american"... I am not from the USA, but I know when I am watching an US-show.
