Nick doesn't know it's own audience

This show is lame. If you're gonna leave out a laugh track , your script has better be sharp , smart and hilarious.

What was Nick thinking???

reply

It's painfully bad.

It will likely get a second season. Since they renewed HH and TT.

Also, laugh tracks don't make a show good or not good.

It isn't getting a second season. This is a mini series, and it was always intended to be one from the start. Hence how Nick is promoting as a "one month event."

reply

Yeah its like how people keep asking for a 2nd season of Hollywood Heights. That show had 80 episodes! It was always only supposed to have one season.

Its not a laughable concept at all. Like EWW it was based off a telenovela. Most telenovelas tend to stretch their run out for about 6 months. Sometimes if they are really popular they get a sequel or added seasons. Like Grachi which EWW is based off had 74 episodes in s1, 84 in s2, and 50 in s3

I'd also like another season of Deadtime Stories. Not sure how likely that is.
Jesus, supernaturalforever do you just like bad shows? I know we won't but I pray to God we don't get another season of this druid show. And Deadtime Stories was terrible also. It was like a lame version of Are You Afraid Of The Dark for little kids.

i don't have a sig

reply

Well yeah Telenovelas are pretty bad but are good at the same time so if this was based on a Telenovela they nailed it ...without the good part of course.

reply

over a year later the show was still on.

True.laugh tracks are a psychological factor but it seems they forgot to add it or something. There's this "dead space" in the acting when the actors are trying to be funny kinda like they're waiting for a response.

Whoever green lighted this show needs to be fired. This is bad for the Nick brand considering they stop making " My babysitter is a vampire" for this crap.

reply

My babysitter is a vampire is a Canadian based show and I don't think it was ever on nick.

reply

That show was on the Disney Channel.

MOJO2004

reply

My Babysitter's a Vampire was on Disney and I'm also VERY surprised they stopped making it. It was a really good show

reply

This is more of a soap opera but the thing about Soap Operas is the scripts are serious, dramatic, lacking too many "jokes", and good and the actors are usually very good which is the complete opposite of this show. This definitely didn't deserve to be on Nick no matter how much their new shows suck (with the exception of some). It doesn't even deserve to be on Teen Nick, the *beep* doesn't even deserve to be on tv. It's such a disaster how did they make it to another season?

reply

why do you need a laugh track for a show? and this show is not a sitcom, it's a serious drama.
