They said that you should have thought of a better title for your dumb movie.

So you have nothing then? What is wrong with the title in your opinion? It is about the children, AKA descendants, of some of Disney's classic villains, seems like at least a reasonable title to me.

Not when a fairly recent famous movie has the same title. How do you not understand this? It would be like making a movie about a florist named Rambo and calling it "Rambo," then half-assedly justifying it with "Well it's about a character named Rambo..."

It happens all the time. Besides, this is a made for TV movie and the target audience has probably never even heard of the movie from 2011.

Wow, your as idiotic as the other guy on here. Just give me another name that would have worked for this movie. It's about Descendants of iconic villains. It seems pretty apt to me.

To be clear, I thought "Descendants" was an unimaginative title the first time around 3 or 4 years ago. I don't know what I would have called it, I guess I'd have to read the screenplay before I gave it a name if that's what you mean. All I know for certain is what I would not have called it.

"The Julio Iglesias Story." There you go. A title that has at least as much meaning and relevance as "The Descendants."

News Flash: Lots of movies have different names: Titles, unless they are named after a copyrighted character (Hence Harry Potter or Superman), can't be copyrighted only the content.

And you are so immature. Movies and song titles have the same names all of the time. There are also two different movies named Broken Arrow, Crossroads, The Heiress, and Liar, Liar, Plus there are about 3 songs named "Express Yourself," so it happens.
