Considering how Jafar had Iago, Jay could have had another funny bird as a pet who could poke fun at Carlos, be loyale to Jay and throw huge temper tantrums when something bad happened.

Evie, has a pet bird which is Iggo's descandant, Othello Carlos has cat which is Lucficer's descandant. and Jay has two eels from Ursla's two eels's descants
