They *beep* up Jafar

Jafar was sorcerer/royal viseir rather than a thief/store owner.

Beware the ninja pie that stalks at night!

the IDEA of Descandants is that the JAFAR and the other VILLAINS were mere SHADOWS more/less of what they WERE in their heyday. And there's the fact MAGIC is outlawed on Island of the Lost. So because he lost to Aladdin his vizer title got taken away. And also because magic (bad) one is not allowed..his staff got taken away as well.

reply

Jafar was not a sorcerer. He was an alchemist! He'd still be able to be his former self. No, they screwed him up!

reply

Maleficant got to keep her scepter and people were more terrified of her than they were any other villain. Jafar himself is technically a Geinie and he can do whatever he wanted to. (Except kill people/make people fall in love/ bring somebody back from the dead.)

reply

Actually Malficent Sr. Didn't get to keep her "Dragon's Eye" staff. She only 'recently' got it back since the Carlos/Evie/Jay&Mal went on a quest to get it back not too long before the movie starts

And she couldn't even use it to escape before Jane accidentally destroyed the barrier.

As for Jafar, his staff had hypnotic powers and how good can an alchemist be without potion ingredients?

reply

And she couldn't even use it to escape before Jane accidentally destroyed the barrier.

She didn't completely destroy it. She just blew a big hole in it.

___________

I'd've gotten away with it, too, if it weren't for you meddling kids.

reply

No Jane did actually destroy the barrier temporarily but after Maleficent had been turned into a Gecko by Mal the Auradonians and Fairy Godmother would have put the barrier back up again over the Isle of the Lost.
