This WOULD work, but...

It kind of falls apart when the whole "I AM THE MANDARIN" thing said by Killian at the end wasn't a thing. Slattery I can buy as being ignorant as hell of everything, but Killian? There didn't seem to be any ambiguity to his line.

Of course, I'll gladly forget that line even exists, plug my ears and close my eyes every time I see the movie, and gladly accept this IF they actually follow through with it.
