I found this show quite a few episodes after it started and then always wondered when the next episode would tape. It seemed very hit and miss. The network handled it terribly. It's too bad, because I always laughed a lot when I did get to see it and so did everyone I watched it with.

My favorite episode was the one when Ronny tried to make his new boyfriend think that he and his family were more outwardly loving than they actually were; and planned an anniversary party and video for his parents. I laughed so hard when I saw how his parents reacted to the edited version of their interviews about baseball and The Good Wife, which were made to sound like comments about each other.

Kind of not surprised. The holiday episodes were the funniest to me, but a lot of episodes, especially in the beginning, were bad. Seems like airing episodes out of order is never a good sign for a new show.

It wasn't a good mixture anyway. It was like if Will and Grace and Married With Children mixed. You had the effeminate side of things as a side story with a very macho family. It wasn't a good combo.

The thing is – it didn't get a chance to really get better. Back years ago, TV networks scarcely ever canceled the show before giving it a full season to show its stuff. And a lot of times, even if a TV show was struggling, the networks would give it a chance – by granting it a second season to improve. The show didn't even get one full season. So, should we really be surprised that it didn't improve?

I think it's more the fault of the network than the show writers or anything else. Plus, it wasn't promoted well at all.

Please excuse typos/funny wording; I use speech-recognition that doesn't always recognize!

When I went to Las Vegas in August, I saw a test-screening of this show's pilot episode. I actually liked how it started out, but pretty soon it just got awful- especially the gag with the dead guy holding the basketball while in the coffin. One of my comments was that it was "practically un-airable" but was told that they'd ALREADY scheduled it to air later! It was painful enough to watch without the excessive commercials and screen clutter on network TV- they should fire everyone who runs it and hire ME!
