Great scary film

At first I thought I was going to be annoyed with the lighthearted banter of the main character Sam, who didn't seem to take any of the creepy things that were happening seriously. And then, he was taking it very seriously as things went from oddly disturbing to frightening.

I like the demonic, surreal part of the movie. I don't know exactly what happened to Sam in that house, and it remained frightening and mysterious and ultimately unexplained.
