Amazing performance & did anyone else notice.....????

Wow! Jason Watkin's performance is awesome! I'm getting ready to watch this a second time - which is something I just never do, with any movie!

Being American, I'd never seen him before, but I'll be sure to watch anything I can see here in the U.S. that he's in!! I'm really looking forward to seeing other performances from him.

If you go on youtube, there are several videos of the real Christopher Jeffries. Just watch one or two & you'll see just how perfectly Mr. Watkins nailed that voice & way of speaking, as well as the physical mannerisms & gestures of Mr. Jeffries.

Did anyone else notice Mr. Watkin's left leg? It seems to be crooked, or sort of bowed. I wonder if it was broken at some time & wasn't set, or didn't heal correctly?

Any medical people here who can offer an opinion on what would cause that?

Sing until your throat hurts, dance until your legs hurt, act until you're William Hurt.

Acting at it's very finest, I agree!

Yeah, I was impressed too----his off-the-wall, slightly unnerving but realistic, laid-back and unhurried performance really had you hooked and interested in this story. You could also see why people thought Jefferies was a suspect, even though everybody knows (or should know) by now that just because someone acts strange or eccentric, that dosen't necessarily make them a suspect. Nope, I didn't notice the actor's left leg being crooked or anything. I'd never heard of him before this, but he definitely made that whole film worth watching most of the time because the character was so weird. I have heard for a long time that Britain pretty much takes its own eccentrics and weird folks for granted---like in the film where Christopher's friends are used to his eccentricities because they know how he is.
