Should you care for a family member with Dementia or Alzheimers?

This is one aspect of our movie, "Our Father". In this case, the father was estranged, over 25 years since he communicated with his kids. One son and his family took him in.

On one hand it was a detriment to the family. On the other, he revealed a secret that offered many answers and a place to begin healing.

I'm not sure which performance by the two leading actors was more powerful, Michael Gross tore my heart out. Michael Worth's performance had me in tears, the supporting cast was made for this film. I think all of the actors involved are going to be forever proud of being a part of this exceptional film. Linda Palmer directed on an expertise level, and the director of photography aced it with the most powerful sequences ever made. And need I mention the soundtrack .....just listen for yourself.
This is not a shy film, no punches are held back. This film is in your face from the opening scene to the final credits. BRAVO !!!!!!!

I would like to see this as a full feature but only if same cast is in same roles.

Caring for dementia, stroke and alzheimers sufferers is not for the faint of heart, but it is an act of kindness, firmness and devoted care-giving that will be an adventure. The fear of many closeted and other secretive elderly is letting those vaulted secrets spill forward when the time comes to have someone else manage their most intimate moments snd business. How many porn collections are buried beneath barn floors in flyover country awaiting discovery?
