I am surprised at how close Royce and his visitor are in the prison, that he is allowed to touch her even and the prison guard is hardly paying any attention. On US TV shows they are separated by a glass wall and in some cases seem to use a telephone to talk to each other.
shareI found that a bit peculiar as well, considering that Royce was an extremely violent prisoner. I would have thought he'd be more restricted than that.
shareI remember a documentary show on British criminals getting involved with penpals while in prison that showed a lot more contact than we generally have here (depends on the prison). One woman actually showed up on a different visiting day than usual and saw her inmate with another lady visitor in his arms.
shareI'm a bit surprised by that as visitors have to stick to the times and dates they're given. If the inmate already had a visitor with him I don't understand how another would be admitted, unless the prison authorities were just up to mischief.

My take on that would be that many a woman has kept a man's secret and what better way to get her to give up those secrets than to show that the chap was seeing someone else.
Need to know where the bodies are buried? Mix up the visitor slips..... ooops.
