Jasmine is truly disgusting

Why is everyone protecting jasmine...she is lying to everyone and seems ok to harm her baby in the process and yet the midwife seems to be ok with that and is promoting her lying to the doctor.

Jasmine is so annoying. I get that ppl stray and things can go wrong but her continuously lying and moaning and complaining and lying is disgusting. Surly one should take responsibility and live with their decisions like Hermione Norris character. Least she was brave enough to be honest.

Jasmine is disgusting and the midwife is no better for encouraging her.

And what's this about forcing the doctor to marry her. When has a forced marriage ever been successful?

These women are so far removed from reality it's a joke. Think only one I am liking is The lady from the IT crowd

I think that to mislead two men about your baby's paternity, and to mislead health professionals about your dates, is appalling. Her interminable moaning is tedious too. I'm struggling to find any sympathy for this character in the way that I do for the others (even the robber).

She is very well acted though.

reply

I don't get why the midwife and everyone is monumenting her

I feel sorry for the blond guy......don't think he deserved weary of that awful
Midwife and Jasmine. And what's with will Mellors character and his wife....they talk like they know Jasmine but they haven't really known her very long

reply

Yes, obviously Jas is written for effect, to make her the annoying one or sumsuch to viewers.

But she gets worse after the baby comes! God if poor Dev is gormless enough to still be in that house in a year, he'll need to check into the local clinic for a spine transplant.

Since the moment of the baby's birth, has she spoken a civil word to Dev without a raised voice, screaming at him some order and demand?

reply

It's dev's fault too. He has such low self worth and lacking confidence that he allows himself to be treated that way.

And Diane and The bank robber are a pair of thickies too....both are full of 'I will sort it out' but not one of them have a practical solution. Think Rosie is smarter than all of them
