Vicky- why didn't I see it?!?!

I figured it out!

she is newly qualified ...i suspect this is her first year post qualifying. why she was not supported more I don't know...I blame the department for not supporting her, giving guidance around boundaries (hiring ex patients to baby sit??) and not giving her follow up support since the incident

also explains why she was so emotionally involved 'they were such a beautiful couple' :-/ and doesn't seem to recognise what she did/what protocols are - 'was it my fault??' (lol well u tell us)

this also explains why she has formed personal attachments with the other mothers who were also her patients at one point.

doesn't make the British midwifery council look very good but the fact she is new to this explains her emotional immaturity, lack of accountability and inexperience
