Whatever happened to...

That girl from the first season that was a diva and rude to Kim then she like won every pageant? I know we are only two episodes into the new season but we haven't seen her at all yet.

Anslee? She had long blonde hair and Kim was always on her about having no talent? I wondered the same thing, and according to her Facebook page she is with a new pageant coach and much, much happier. She writes that she is in her comfort zone, no longer stressed, and very grateful for her new pageant family. I do miss her on the show, but I'm really happy for her. It's hard to have the courage to change your situation even when you're unhappy. I know Kim was coming from a good place, and pushing her to be better, but the constant berating of her perceived lack of talent had to be hurtful to a girl so young, and have a negative impact on her self esteem. I've always felt the talent portion of pageants was ridiculous (well, I guess everything about pageants is ridiculous) but with talent, there's so many things that someone can be amazing at, that can't be performed onstage. What if you're an incredible at skiing, or pottery, or cooking, etc., etc.? Sorry for rambling. I wish Anslee the best, and really hope that none of these girls take the pageant world too seriously, regardless if they're winning or losing.

You can see Anslee's Facebook page for yourself by searching Anslee Busby. :)

I didn't see it as Kim putting pressure on her. I thought Kim was fantastic with her, but Anslee probably needed a change. She was a lovely kid. I hope she does well.

No not Anslee. I liked her though, sad she's no longer around. The girl I am thinking of was the girl that only shopped in high end boutiques and Kim made her buy an outfit from goodwill. She did the ventriloquist act with Hannah when it was partners week.

Alexis. She was in a few episodes last season, but I think that her and the preachers daughter were both 17, so she might be in college now.
