Episode 3


Well, it was better than the untidy second episode and certainly gave you some idea of what it was like to man a tank during WW1. But, I didn't really engage with any of the characters and, as much as that level of fumes may well have messed with your mind, the hallucinations didn't work for me... I'd also say that the interior of the tank seemed unrealistically clean and, when the guns weren't firing, quiet.

I do think this series had excellent intentions, the period detail was very good and, with a bit more thought, it could have been something really rather special. But, after quite a good opening episode, they seemed to lose their way a bit... In the end, I feel it was a bit of a wasted opportunity.
