In the last flashback when they show him walking out of the police station, what is the other flashback which is mixed with this one? I mean the guy coming to fix the floor of his closed store, is there any link between he hiding there body there and this guy repairing the floor. That one particular scene in the flashback confused me.
shareNo relation between his floor repair and the body hiding. Floor repair was just to mislead the viewer to the assumption that, he might have hidden the body under his store's floor. But Gerogekutti, being the smart guy he is, knows that there are chances that a smarter police guy can find a connection between his floor work and missing body and can recover it. So, he did the smarter thing... He hid the body under the new police station floor, which was also under construction at the same time. The flashback scene shown is, he coming out of the under-construction police station site, on the night of the murder, which indicates that he has hidden the body under the police station floor and not under his store's floor.
shareThe other flashback (with the closed store) that you are referring to is a scene that shows the engineer informing Georgekutty(Mohan Lal) he will fix his floor after they lay the flooring for the new Police Station on Monday . This way Georgekutty knew that the body will not be recovered cause they were planning on covering the ground with concrete the next morning.
