I think it's a comedy
I just watched it as a comedy because the acting was so horrible that it was funny. I really laughed at some parts there were totally screwed up. Whoever produced and directed it needs to go back to movie making school

I think it's made in the same vein as sharknado etc.. they are trying to cash in on the unexpected cash cow that was sharknado.
But this is so bad.. the dialogue, or frustrating lack of it, is just so terrible. I don't think whoever wrote this has actually even been on a plane before.
