Scrat's epic pursuit of the elusive acorn catapults him into the universe where he accidentally sets off a series of cosmic events that transform and threaten the Ice Age World. To save themselves, Sid, Manny, Diego, and the rest of the herd must leave their home and embark on a quest full of comedy and adventure, traveling to exotic new lands and encountering a host of colorful new characters.

God, what's wrong with Blue Sky? I liked Epic, the first Rio and Peanuts have nice reviews, but this seems way stupid, and lot worse than Continental Drift (which was really mediocre).

This sounds entertainingly stupid. I shall closely follow the pre-release promotion and then not actually see the movie.

I'm going to bet the end will have a meteor hurting toward them and they all say tearful goodbyes before the meteor is wrecked by Scrat.
