Isn't it sad how disconnected the films feel now?

The first film was anything but realistic, but it wasn't too out there. It was a simple story of Ice Age mammals helping a human baby reach its family. The biggest enemy was the other sabers.

Now they are doing this whole end-of-the-world-thing that barely makes sense. And let me not even get to the rejuvinating water.

On top of that, where are the humans? It is like they never existed.

The franchise has really lost its heart.

Exactly. I recently watched all the movies and it's hard to imagine that this movie is part of the same franchise as the original movie.

Now there's spaceships and end of the world plots and crystals that give long life, Neil Degrass and...ugh, the franchise needs to die now.
