WTH was this? Who wrote this?

This movie was trying way too hard to be cute and funny. Adult story or whatever it was. I just couldn't get in to it. It's true what the other OP said on these message board. Too many characters. Too much silliness. Maybe good for kids who don't understand the "jokes" just the goofy characters.
