Tale of three brothers
The watercolor stories reminded me a lot of "The tale of three brothers" animation in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part 1. Anyone else?

As soon as it turned to the watercolor animation - that was the very first thing i thought of
I'll get hate for this but the Tree Monster reminded me of Optimus Prime for some odd reason - i just kept on expecting him to say 'Autobots'

It's the flaming eyes that look as if they are lenses when the Monster was focusing on something.
The rest of the appearance was more like Groot zoomed in.
Although the rugged shape of the figure did bear some resemblance with Megatron, the first thing you wrote in your comment before you edited it. share
Yeah i've had Megatron on the brain because of the villain of season 3 of The Flash (who looks EXACTLY like him)
I know Neeson sounds nothing Peter Cullen (who plays Optimus) but there was just something about that booming voice that reminded me of Optimus
The Tree Monster was more interesting than Groot (the most overrated CGI creature of all time haha)
