Rush

never lost his medical license bc if he did he would never practice medicine anywhere in the world and idk why ppl assumed he killed a patient when we learned he almost killed a patient that lead to his firing from the hospital.

I guess we assumed based on the convo he had with his dad earlier this.

I love how shows are filmed in canada and basically anyone we spot in a canadian show will show up on other candian shows lol. Rachael Nicholas recurring role on Rush but plays in Continuum. Roger Cross who played in Motive and Continuum now plays in The Strain. Eve stalker ex boyfriend forgot his name played in Alphas.True Justice and Motive now stalks his way on Rush lol

Who said he lost his license? He obviously has a license.

Yeah, that a side splitter that Canadian actors show up in other Canadian shows. It's very confusing.

Before this past episode. Many on here claimed he lost his license which caused him to lose his job and stopping talking to his dad for 6 yrs. but this past episode we learned he was fired bc he almost killed a patient who was a boy when he operating on him during the flashbacks.

I saw one thread about his license, but everyone agreed he had a license. When he treated that boxer, he had to be a licensed doctor. That's why he wanted the document back when the boxer didn't do what he said he was going to do.

I think most people assumed he lost his job because of something he did and his father was involved. This episode just told us what happened.

And to put a finer point on it, he did have the problem in surgery with the patient when the artery was nicked, but he repaired it.

Then those near him realized after the fact he was high by simply looking into his eyes.

He wasn't fired for nearly harming the patient technically; he essentially resigned from his position by refusing to take the urine test for substances after leaving the operating room.

He refused to be tested, thereby making his employment there impossible.

And it never affected his license, because he never tested positive in an medical venue.

But I bet in real life he would have lost his license or had some kind of penalty.
