...do we need an expanded remake?
The charming story of a
pacifist bull unwittingly selected for a grand bullfight was a simple story..still hopefully more people will see the original before deciding on the remake.
I didn't even know this was planned.
I remember the short cartoon very vaguely. It was cute, but I don't really see how they can expand it into a full-length movie.
This actually wasn't a "remake" of the short Silly Symphony cartoon; rather an expanded re-telling of the original picture book by Munro Leaf and Robert Lawson.
Now that's been out for a year, I've seen it in theaters and now own it on DVD, it's actually a really good film; admittedly some the expansion were a little pointless and made the movie run a LITTLE longer than it needed to, but hey! That's just nitpicking...
