OK can someone who have read the book spoile this movie for me ? i lost

I lost the interest on these long parts movies , i can't remember what happened on a movie that i watched at 2014 , i already have it but i don't even like to watch it now after i find out that this is not the last part , anyway we found out that this city is experiment to see any divergent people will appear then here she is so what is the thing that they need from her and why is she important ? all the founders were pure from bad gene then how did the city they were leaving stayed pure ? i 'm slow maybe so spoil the whole story for me pls .

The (founder's) genetic modifications lead to a "damaged" genetic pool. The experiment was intended to determine if generational (natural) recoding would correct the damage, and lead to a solution that could be reproduced on demand. Tris was the first, and as far as they knew, the only "pure" thus far, among all those living on Earth. Chicago was David's experiment, and Tris was the first product of his experiment. This is why she was the only person who could activate the message box in Insurgent. Keep in mind, the movie is not a strict representation of the book (far from it, actually).
