Everything that came out of his mouth was guaranteed to generate laughter from the audience. The way he coughed "ASSKISSER" had me and others in the theater laughing.

Yeah, he was funny. My favorite line from him was when they were about to go over the wall and he says "looks nothing like reading it in the books." Its like he was making fun of his own movie, lol

IMO he grounds the movie in a sense of reality. Because Tris & Four are so intense & the CGI/future-tech is so over-the-top sometimes, that hearing Peter complain or be sarcastic sounds so true to life.

THAT is what I like about him, he acknowledges the weirdness around them while the main characters are sucked into the life. Peter reminds the audience of the weirdness like with the "coolest weird shower line."

Agreed. Not to restate my point, but if you're going to have a dystopian movie with intense visuals, it helps having a character like Peter to acknowledge that... To speak for the audience who's maybe like: "this is really weird." Miles always does a great job in that role

Yup! I've seen a lot of his comical roles in movies such as Footloose and 21 and over but lately I've wanted to see his more dramatic roles such as The Spectacular Now. I think next I am going to view Whiplash which I heard was really good.

Its so weird cause I HATED book peter! However the 2nd film made me love movie peter! I have to keep reminding myself that he tried to kill tris! Havent seen the 3rd and wasnt going to because I hated the book.

Foot face is one of the worst aspects of the franchise. They keep letting him back into their inner circle no matter how many times he *beep* them over. It's ridiculous, like something from a cheeseball Spanish soap opera...

Divergent:

And the reason they are still trying to find reasons to have this moronic weasel hanging around them despite him betraying in basically every movie is to give morons their Cartman. So that he can say stupid *beep* like that and make idiots laugh.

Peter/Miles has always been the consistent good character in these movies. I hated Insurgent but I couldn't help but to enjoy when Miles was on screen. He's an ass but he at least has a personality.
