Apart from the part where the author seems to think that the occupiers are part of IS. Someone didn't do their homework...

But yeah, the "how far can you run" angle is spot on indeed.

Whether the occupiers are part of IS or any of the numerous outfits broadly sharing their aims is surely irrelevant: that flag is becoming as recognisable as the swastika flag of the Third Reich. You do not have to 'do homework' before seeing or commenting on a film - a fact which several reviewers, in their eagerness to display their Google-derived knowledge of actual events, are pleased to ignore.
