Haitian Santeria Woman

Could someone answer me this: why, *why* do the Sharia dictators tolerate the existence of the Haitian woman, with her uncovered face, brightly-colored clothes, her *stopping* their cars with outstretched arms? Her Santerian >>>Christian<<< religion?!!!!!!

I second the question about the unusual woman.
And what was the man doing who appeared to be dancing like a chicken after she gave him a little colorful thing?

My take on this having seen it last night .. Several cultures, beliefs, have very tolerant attitudes to what some could call 'crazies'. They believe they are touched by God to be like that.
I thought she was in the film to show the contrast between their (the 'the Sharia dictators') seeming toleration of her and their warped attitude to people behaving what we would call normally.

Interesting take. This would show too how the invaders were confused in their philosophy and intent.

She was a fabulous figure and that scene where she meets the pick-up truck with arms outstretched was amazing.
