SPOILERS: We're confused about one character

After 3 of us left the theater we started connecting the characters with the Daisy Armstrong kidnapping. We got all of them except we were confused about Michelle Pfeiffer's character. Was she Daisy's grandmother? Aunt? Help!

She was her grandmother.

Thanks. I wasn't sure about the timeline: when Daisy died and when the Orient Express murder took place.
