First off, I think it looks like a visually gorgeous film. I mean, it really, really looks nice, like the kind of film where you can just kick back and luxuriate in everything that appears on screen.

It also seems like Branagh may be doing a few different things with the plot. I only say that because there were a couple of moments that I couldn't figure out what scene that would be from in the original story. I'm okay with that, though. I've read the book and seen two different film adaptations multiple times. I want this one to give me something I haven't seen before.

The film does look like it is going to be visually good, I agree. The cast seems to be fine too. I wouldn't mind a different twist in the plot either if handled well.

I’m on board with it. ;) Visually pleasing for sure, and the cast is awesome looking.

And yes, some new surprises (well-executed ones) would be appreciated.
