Can't wait for this!

Agatha Christie's classic story? An all-star cast? Kenneth Branagh in the director's chair?

Yes, please!

I've seen both the 1974 classic adaptation with Albert Finney as well as the 2010 TV version with David Suchet. And while some might ask, "Do we really need another adaptation of Murder on the Orient Express?," much like with A Christmas Carol, I feel like it's one of those stories that needs to be revived every so often for a new generation.

Considering the talent involved, I think this is going to be great. Anyone else pumped for this one?

It's stacked. My only reservation is with Johnny Depp as Ratchett. I'm just not sure he's right for that role.

The first time I heard about Murder On The Orient Express was when my mom had gotten a PC game called The Last Express and when me and Mom played it together I didn't even know that The Orient Express was a train from a book and the game was based on that movie but even though Mom and I never solved The Last Express we were impressed by the storyline and mystery of the game. It wasn't until Mom and I saw the preview of the new Murder On The Orient Express that I said to Mom "That's the story of The Last Express" and although we hadn't gotten around to watching the movie we hope to see it sometime
If you want to know more play The Last Express before watching Murder On The Orient Express to get a feel for what the movie is about

Thanks for the info. I have seen the movie at this point, and in fact, I own it on 4K Blu-Ray.

Actually, I have not only seen this version of the movie, but I have also seen the 1974 and 2010 versions. And I have read the book as well.

It's a great story!

That game sounds interesting. I may have to check it out. It's interesting you mention that actually because before I became an Agatha Christie fan I played a hidden-object game based on another one of her books, Death on the Nile, which has now also been adapted by Kenneth Branagh as a sequel to this film. It's set to be released in October.
