Do they talk about their hatred towards the "American Indian"?...Do they talk about Theodore Roosevelt praising the Colorado Sand Creek Massacre four decades later ?...Where no native American warriors were killed just their women,children and elders.. Modern American racism against the native American still exists and it thrives in the false teachings in American history, social media ,and traditional Euro-American cultures...And,Theodore Roosevelt brought that racism to the 1900's..P.B.S is U.S. government social media !! KEEP BRAIN WASHING AMERICA...

As did most white people, sadly, during that time period. Most people who haven't read primary sources from that time period don't realize just how common and casual racism was then. It was nothing particularly evil about the Roosevelts.

Teddy Roosevelt was an a$$ when it came to native American indians.
Saying that any war atrocity, no matter who the enemy, is "righteous" is simply cold blooded stupidity.

Many men who spent time in the west respected the tribes they met. Apparently Teddy was not among that group.

He was a warrior, and he loved conflict. He seemed to believe that mortal combat was the pinnacle of manhood.
It isn't.

TR had a sane, mainstream view of the American Indian. He was in favor of giving them a "Square Deal" and improve life on the Reservation.

However, due to his travels and living in the Dakaota's in the 1880s he didn't view the Native tribes with rose colored glasses and had several close calls with "Renegade Indians" while on solitary hunting trips. He also tried to tell History without bias or hysteria and be fair to both sides.

That's probably what bothers a lot of people - they prefer their history black/white and full of cartoon good guys and bad guys.

Racism from patriotic Americans will not stand !!! This aggression will not stand Man !!! Renegade Indians ?? They where just hunters who had to turn warriors just to protect their families against foreign mad dog killers infected with disease( The U.S Army )... It was a renegade government that slaughtered native men, woman, and children for the sake of destroying them...THAT'S NO SQUARE DEAL !!! Theodore Roosevelt was a punk who had armies to do the dirty work for him !! There's a difference between a warrior and a killer !!! No one who fought or fights for The United States Government can ever call themselves a warrior !!! Simply, because this country was built on the death of the innocent .. ON A MASS SCALE OF 900,000,000 or more people !!And, is still building itself on the death of the innocent! Look at 911 and look where were at with "foreign trade agreements" and "the struggling economy"...The C.I.A orchestrated 911 !! Then they wanted assassinate the one C.I.A Op (Osama Bin Laden)that wanted to expose the C.I.A/U.S Government's actions...THEY COVERED IT UP BY USING THE MEDIA AND THE PUBLIC THE SAME WAY THEY USED IT AGAINST THE NATIVE AMERICANS !! There's NO and never will be any justification for anything this government does or has done ..This government has NO problem with killing it's own ...And, we will be seeing and experiencing more of that in the future..

America has treated the Indians unfairly and with cruelty, but the Indians treated each other the same way, often with merciless cruelty. It's just that the technological advances of the Americans allowed them to do it so much more thoroughly.

The fact that this documentary is not entirely devoted to that fact does nothing to invalidate the documentary. The documentary is not called "America's Injustice to Indians: the Only Topic of American History." Believe it or not, other things happened in this country besides the topic you're interested in.

Call-out culture and social justice warriors are out of control. There are all of these people who glom onto the injustices suffered by cultures and use them as soapboxes to make themselves look "more sensitive, concerned and all-around superior" to the rest of us. Ok, we see you, you're so great. Now shut up already.

And I say that as a left-leaning person who doesn't want to see my own movement derailed by the selfish behavior of a bunch of poseur teenagers on social media.

Your OWN movement ? Invalidate the documentary ? Selfish behavior ? A left-leaning person ? You started the Civil-Rights Movement, American Indian Movement and The Black Lives Matter Movement ? And, I bet in your own brain-washed head, you also started The Peace Corp ? The only "movements" you have are the ones YOU flush everyday down YOUR toilet ! Your OWN American history is invalidated ! This "political crime family" is and will always will be apart of it and it's past and future propagandas ! Calling it YOUR OWN movement is "selfish behavior" !
