Seriously?

How ridiculous that when Nick finally had control of the situation he took the opportunity to force Teresa to write. She had broken in to his house, stole his book, mugged the friend, killed the chickens and kidnapped his wife and publisher and he decides it's the time to resume the student and teacher roles. Please. I would have wanted to knock her out.

I also cracked up when the wife, publisher and cop were outside. They heard a shot and the wife cried out, Nick, and stepped toward the house. The cop said, wait for backup as if then she could go in. That cop was Mayberry material.

I agree. The movie was a bit weak overall but okay. The ending, however, made me want to seriously hurt someone. Incredibly lame and absolutely unbelievable given everything that came before. It felt like a last minute tack on.

Ironic that a 'bad ending' was the stalker's beef with the writer character, no?

Its Lifetime so you have to consider that. I understood her anger at him using her idea for his book but her actions were over the top. I did like his getting her to write at the end. Her going total psycho was not needed though.

Well, Josie Loren's character is not an average stalker. As she says, she could have hurt Nick or his wife many times. She doubts to be able to be something more than a dilettante wannabe writer and looks for a substitute. Her teacher, Nick, gets inspired and manages to make her want the real thing instead.

Not ridiculous at all ; piling of dead bodies would have been.

Nick was super-tolerant. But I guess that he was feeling guilt at having stolen Teresa's idea at the same time. I didn't understand how he couldn't take steps to stop Teresa continually getting into his house.
