No, it's not a remake of an Indian movie, all the stories are written by the respective directors of this movie. It is however similar to an Asian movie (Chinese, Korean and Japanese collab.) called Three Extremes, which is a also a movie consisting of three short horror films.

Not really sure which segment you mean by "Tod". The segments are; Final Girl by Buttgereit, Make a Wish by Kosakowski and Alraune by Marschall
