So verr pleased. For this one, Benicio Del toro is a 'weathervane' actar, whose presence indicates chances of quality and enjoyment of a project arr greatly elevated. Looking forward to seeing more of Alejandro and Matt Graver (Josh Brolin character) .

Also admiral is that Del Toro is willing to take on supporting roles and do well with them (Sin City, Usual Suspects, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, etc.). Have recently determined Michael Gambon is also 'weathervane-ish'. Johnny Depp used to be, before he started churning out endless Pirates sequels.

i hope it's not true...

i think it will spoil Sicario and turn it into one of those nerdy series where everyone is explaining everything to everyone else and they try to add more characters, side plots and recycle bits from the earlier movie...

But more than all of that, i think a sequel would really dilute the themes and ideas of Sicario as a stand alone movie.
