Yea, this was obviously a stinker. Dull and Boring, especially Del Toro, he talked way too much.

shareI loved it! This is how action really is, it's subtle, you decided to do it or you don't. When it hits the fan it happens fast and is over usually pretty quickly and you struggle to grasp how it got heated so fast and wonder did you do the right thing or are you just naive to the world? If you want non stop action, there are plenty of movies out there that do just that. This was refreshing and a change of pace. My hats off to the Director, Cinematographer and the Composer set a tone.
shareThe action in this movie is subtle? Del Toro unleashes an all out assault ala Jason Bourne at the end of the movie.
The action is definitely supposed to be 'badass', no matter how many people say this is a thinking man's action movie.
While there IS some thrilling moments in this film, action is not what I expected from this so I can't say I felt disappointed. This is a taut, gritty, slow-paced and expertly crafted film that held my interest.... and that's definitely good enough for me.
