Rape scene -how far in?

my wife is a survivor and cannot stomach rape scenes. what is the minute mark of the implied rape scene so I can skip over it for her?

don't need a lecture from mra alt right creeps about triggers, just want to watch the movie with my wife.

thanks in advance to those who can help!!

reply

lol...there is no rape scene.

read something in the parental guides...

the implied rape scene starts exactly 42 and 17 seconds minutes into the film and lasts for 2 minutes.

reply

It isn't a rape or even an attempted one. However, there's a violent scene between a man and a woman, and then another less serious one. Neither are sexual, but there could be triggers I guess.

It was consensual until she realised that her partner was corrupt and in the drug business. When she tried to break away he tried to kill her rather than tried to rape her.

reply

I was genuinely pissed off at how poorly she was unable to pretend nothing was wrong. She is an FBI agent of 3 years that has seen a lot of action. You telling me she never got in a tough situation she had to play off? That scene kinda pissed me off

reply

That would go against her character...who almost NEVER plays it cool.

reply

He never tries to rape her - at that point he is purely trying to kill her

"mra alt Right creeps"?
Hmm. You clearly have an agenda here. Only SJWs and feminists talk that way.

reply

His "agenda" is to avoid something that might upset his wife.

"What race are you? If you don't tell me I'll just...assume the worst."

reply

Why would he watch THIS movie then?? Obviously just watch something else.

reply

Because it's a good movie? If he can avoid the one scene that might upset his rape survivor wife then it's worth watching.

"What race are you? If you don't tell me I'll just...assume the worst."

reply

I do this for my wife too...get a life crazy right wing nut job!

reply

Alt right creeps? You sound like a alt left loser.

Hi OP, do you still need this info? I could confirm whether the timing stated by the only helpful replier is correct. All of the other people are confused and thinking about a different scene involving the female protagonist, but nothing remotely related to rape, implied or otherwise, happens to her (although in the original script it did, but Emily Blunt was uncomfortable with it). The implied rape is of a man instead but is still potentially upsetting. It was a bit upsetting for me (I'm a survivor as well). You're a good man for checking into it for her.
