I haven't seen this movie yet, but the trailers make me think of the tv show The Bridge. Apparently this movie focuses on cops trying to tackle the Cartel, just like the Bridge. Also, one cop is American, one Mexican, just like the Bridge. What other similarities does Sicario have to the Bridge? It was a great show, so I can see them getting inspired by it. It's such a shame it was cancelled.
shareNo it's not. I'll suggest you to watch the original Bridge- danish/Sweden one. First season is mostly scene by scene copied initially, but later they added the cartel plot to make it more american i think. You'll enjoy the second season of the original.
shareNo its not and i dont recommend you to watch the swedish/danish show its beyond aggrevating to see the unrealistic female leads acting and behaviour on the show. She is like spontaneously a forced weirdo and overacting to the point where it feels like she has some kind of syndrome. Ive never been turned off so much by a show. Kim Bodnia does decently but the swedish girl killed the show completely for me after 5 episodes.
