I liked this film. Very refreshing but why use Ernst haeckel's drawing from 1874 that were proven to be totally fraudulent? It makes the believability/suspension of disbelief a little tougher for those who know thier history. They could have used 'evolution' if they wanted for her issues, but it seems to me they fought so hard against it being magic that they resort to using lies to back up thier reasoning for her condition. It would have been much better not being explained or using supernatural after all.
