So Louise is now mortal, she got her gift as a virgin, will the baby be mortal or another immortal?

She's going to have A regular baby, and she lost her immorality. Their kid though, I think it might be like the mom!

Loved the movie.... So she passed it on to her baby, but what caused her to become normal? Because she fell in love with that guy?

Yes, when she fell in love with him her body chose to use her adult stem cells instead of absorbing the baby

Yes, the baby will inherit the gene. She explained that her mom became mortal and when the volcano erupted she died. But Louise survived because she now carried it.

There was an extra feature on the DVD with an alternate ending. It shows Evan nine months later on the phone to his drunken Bro in the States. He says she gave birth to a monster AND got fat. So he's back on the market. It was hilarious, like all the extra features. The Directors are funny guys!
